SASS Range Operations Basic Safety Course (RO-I)

Saturday - June 21, 2008

The purpose of this course is to ensure safety and consistency at every SASS club match, no matter what size the match. Each SASS competitor who sets foot on a range is a Safety Officer, responsible for his own safety and the safety of those nearby. It is our intent every SASS competitor has the knowledge to function as a Range Officer, given appropriate coaching on the range by experienced personnel.

The next RO1 course will be held Saturday June 21st following the monthly match. The class takes about 3 hours to complete depending on class participation. The course fee is $10, payable the day of the class. The training will take place at the Pawnee Station range so bring something for lunch and a comfortable camp chair. Early registration is requested to ensure we have sufficient course material for everyone. To register for the next class send an email to Red River Wrangler or see me at the May 17th shoot.

RAWAH, BREED, YUSTA B, SHERIFF LEMING, ORE CART and RED RIVER WRANGLER spent Thursday afternoon (4/24/08) setting up what ought to be a great shoot for next Sunday, May 4th out at Pawnee Sportsmen's Center, Briggsdale.

There will be a Rosary said for LJ (Louis King) at 7:00PM on Sunday, Aug 19th at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (4200 Federal Blvd., Denver). The Mass/Memorial for LJ will be Monday, Aug 20th at 10:00AM at St. Catherine's. Reception immediately following the Mass. Burial will be private. No flowers, please.
